   Sarah Palin may be a good looking, attractive candidate in terms of her appearance, and her “working mother can do it all” attitude. But in truth, she has very little substance behind the “lipstick-wearing hockey mom” face. Women are not going to want to vote for a pro-gun, pro-life republican, with her gung-ho attitude when it comes to issues such as Russian attitudes and firearms, be it in the election this year, or in subsequent years. The truth of the matter is this: Sarah Palin has nothing going for her in terms of policies, and were it to come to an election where she was running for president, the US electorate would see straight though it, as they will do in 2008, whilst she is running alongside John McCain.

   At first I thought McCain was very clever in choosing Palin as his running mate. She appeals to middle America, she likes guns, she’s not hard to look at, she’s young, and she’s a woman. However, the more and more I see of her the more fearful I am that this woman, if McCain wins the presidency, is only a heartbeat away from holding the most powerful political office in the world.

   If McCain wins Hillary Clinton will be our first woman president. If Obama wins then Sarah will say “Give him to me” in 2012. She knows how to win an election and seeing the crowds she is drawing(bigger than Obama) I predict she will be the Republican nominee for president in 2012. More than Bobby Jindal who might be a good VP pick. Obama took 3 months to draw an 80,000 crowd for his coronation as nominee, Sarah took less than 24 hours to bring 60,000 people to see her in Florida!

   If McCain wins the 2008 Election than Hillary will be our next president. Something people fail to remember is that towards the end of the primary season how much more popular she had become. She was able to connect and find how to relate to people. If Obama wins the election than I look for Palin to be the Republican Presidential Nominee in 2012. However, she will never have alot of support from woman. Woman will not put their support behind a pro choice, pro gun candidate. Those are some of the most important issues to woman and she opposes. I also think Palin will be the nominee in 2012 even if McCain wins. I cant see McCain seeking reelection. I also think that Hillary Clinton, so far, is the only woman that deserves to be our first female president. Also, 2012 seems like ”the year” for a female president. It will be 92 years since woman recieved the right to vote. I also think we will have a female vice president before we have a female president.

   Wow! Obama managed to win the presidency with 95% of the black vote, 70% of the hispanic vote and 43% of the white vote. He won just 400,000 more votes than Bush had in 2004. But McCain lost 5 millions votes for his old age, his lack of enthusiasm and lack of strong campaigning. Sarah Palin has the Republican conservative base, the religious right(catholics and evangelicals) and Reagan democrats on the palm of her hands.
   Be certain that she will be the GOP nominee in 2012. What she would need to do to secure victory and attract that minorities vote is to have a Hispanic(Mario Diaz-Baralt) or Condoleza Rice as running mate. A ticket with Palin and a minorty will be a Reagan landslide win.
   Condi might just not accept but a Palin-Rice ticket would be an incredible win for the GOP. It would take down gender and race. Two women, one white and other black would take down Obama faster than sprinting 50 flat meters. Two women in power might scare a couple of sexist retrogrades but will elevate the GOP to celestial status!
