Barack Obama
“Through hard work and perseverance, my father got a scholarship to study in a magical place: America, which stood as a beacon of freedom and opportunity to so many who had come before.”
Born in Hawaii to a Kenyan father and a Kansas-born mother, Barack Obama’s biography reads like a modern Hollywood treatment of the American Dream. Despite being in Washington for less than four years, he is mounting a credible presidential challenge and is seen by many pundits to be Hillary Clinton’s main rival.
But it’s a long and winding road to The White House and Barack will need all the political adroitness he can muster. He needs to counter his inexperience as well as the well-oiled political machine of “The Preying Mantis”, who will be itching to get back her grip on Pennsylvania Avenue.
